TONY ROBBINS' LIFE STORY

Anthony Robbins, better known as Tony Robbins, is an American motivational speaker, self-help author, and entrepreneur. He was born on February 29, 1960, in North Hollywood, California, United States. His father, John Mahavorick, was of Croatian descent, and his mother, Nikki Robbins, was of Native American and English ancestry. Tony's parents divorced when he was seven years old, and he was subsequently raised by his mother in Azusa, California.

Robbins grew up in Azusa, California, and attended Glendora High School. He later attended and dropped out of college at Azusa Pacific University after only three months.

At the age of 17, Robbins started promoting seminars for Jim Rohn, a motivational speaker and writer. He went on to work for John Grinder, co-founder of Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), and learned the techniques he would later use in his own seminars.

In 1986, Robbins released his first infomercial for his book "Unlimited Power," which became a bestseller. He then went on to release his most famous book, "Awaken the Giant Within," in 1991, which has since sold millions of copies worldwide.

Throughout his career, Robbins has hosted seminars and speaking engagements all over the world, including "Unleash the Power Within" and "Date With Destiny." He has also advised leaders and business executives, including Bill Clinton, Serena Williams, and Paul Tudor Jones.

In addition to his work as a motivational speaker, Robbins has also appeared on television and in movies, including the film "Shallow Hal."

Robbins has been married twice. His first marriage was to Becky Jenkins, with whom he had three children. Robbins and Jenkins divorced in 2001, and he then married Bonnie "Sage" Robbins in 2001.
